Clashes for Palestine
On the morning of 2 July 2014, Mohammad Abu Khdeir, a young Palestinian boy from the arab neighborhood of Shu'afat, East Jerusalem, was killed by some Israeli extremists. The murder of Mohammad was a response to the abduction and murder of three Israeli teens on 12 June, in the West Bank.
After those facts, violent clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces occured in Shu'afat. The murders contributed to a breakout of hostilities in the 2014 Israel - Gaza conflict.
The marbles, used by Palestinians during the clashes with IDF, were collected in Shu'afat on 3 July 2014.
